Hello, World!
Hi there! My name is Isabel Tusing, and I'd like to welcome you to my Pixel Princess Devblog! Here I
write about my journey as a computer science major and aspiring game developer: the things I learn, the
projects I build, and the lessons I discover along the way. From debugging code to designing pixelated
worlds, this blog is where I share the ups, downs, and AHA! moments that come with turning curiosity
into creation. Whether you're another developer, a student, or a fellow creative, I hope you find
something here that inspires you to keep learning, experimenting, and leveling up!
About me!
- This website is coded entirely by me! I don't know much about web design, but I'm having fun!
- I am in my junior year at the College of William and Mary
- I'd love to know more about electrical engineering and tinker around with electronics whenever I can!
- I work as one of the fencing team's head armorers and it's my job to fix and maintain the equipment.
I really enjoy soldering things and rewiring blades!
- I'm working on developing my pixel art skills!
- I am a HUGE fan of the band Car Seat Headrest and take every possible opportunity to talk about it.
- Proud cat mom to my furry little son Tobby!
Big Dreams and Aspirations
- To understand technology not just as a tool, but as an art form
- To make technology feel playful again
- To create games that tell stories worth remembering, even if they're small ones
- To bring people happiness with my games and make people feel seen
- To keep chasing curiosity wherever it leads, even when it's messy
- To embrace mistakes as milestones
- To grow into someone who inspires others to start their own creative journey
- To build things that remind others (and myself!) that joy and wonder belong in science, too.
